And no, this wasn’t “luck.” In fact, what I’ve built came out of years of pain, pressure, and persistence. (I’m so grateful I don’t look like what I’ve been through.) I’m not somebody who just teaches “faith and fitness” without a story.
I’ve lived this. My journey started in the military, where I learned discipline, but also endured physical strain and long-term stress. From there, I became a mental health therapist while raising four kids—burned out as a prior educator, stressed out as an administrator, and always giving to everyone else without giving myself permission to rest. Then my world flipped upside down I had to file for divorce while still holding it together for my clients, because that’s what we do in mental health—we show up for others even when we’re breaking on the inside.
Eventually, the stress caught up with me. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition, and I realized my lack of peace was literally taking a toll on my body. That was my wake-up call.
I couldn’t keep living in survival mode. That’s when Rooted Reset was born. It became the system I created for myself to slow down, reconnect with God, and take control of my health and my time. No more living for everyone else and leaving myself last. No more shame about starting over. Rooted Reset gave me clarity, consistency, and confidence—not just in my workouts, but in my walk with God and my purpose as a woman.
Now I teach women how to do the same. Through my 40-minute Faith + Fitness plan, I help women heal their bodies, strengthen their spirits, and silence self-doubt so they can walk boldly in clarity, confidence, and consistency.
